Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By booking an assessment or utilising the Lucid ADHD website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern your relationship with Botonics Limited (“the Company”) and supersede any prior communications.
2. Clinical Services and Scope
- Assessment Only: Lucid ADHD provides diagnostic assessments for Adult ADHD. We do not provide emergency psychiatric services or ongoing crisis management.
- No Guarantee of Diagnosis: A financial transaction is for the expert time and clinical evaluation of our specialists. It is not a purchase of a specific diagnosis or prescription.
- Clinical Judgement: All diagnostic decisions are at the sole discretion of the assessing clinician, based on statutory UK clinical guidelines (NICE).
3. Patient Obligations
To facilitate a valid clinical outcome, you agree to:
- Provide honest, accurate, and complete information via the Lucid_Medical_History_Form.
- Supply supporting evidence (e.g., school reports or observer forms) where requested.
- Ensure you are in a private, quiet, and technically suitable environment for your virtual interview.
4. Fees and Payment
- Full Payment: The assessment fee must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your clinician’s time.
- Additional Costs: Fees for follow-up appointments, titration, or letters to GPs are distinct and not included in the initial assessment rate.
5. Refund and Cancellation Policies
Our strict Refund and Cancellation policies (available in full on our website) are incorporated into these terms by reference.
- Refunds are not permitted once the Lucid_Medical_History_Form has been submitted.
- Late rescheduling (less than 48 hours) incurs a £150 fee.
6. Digital Service and Technology
- Virtual Delivery: Assessments are conducted via secure video link. Lucid ADHD is not liable for technical failures on the patient’s device or network.
- CRM & Communication: We utilise Keap (Infusionsoft) to manage personal data and send clinical correspondence. By using this service, you consent to receiving automated clinical reminders.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Botonics Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the service, provided clinical duty of care has been met.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
