Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Free Screening Test
The Lucid 2-minute screener is provided gratis as a public resource. As no financial transaction occurs for this service, no refund logic is applicable.
2. Assessment Fees
Upon payment of the assessment fee, Lucid ADHD immediately allocates clinical resources to your case.
- 7-Day Cooling-Off Period: In accordance with UK Consumer Rights, you may request a refund within 7 days of your booking, subject to the exceptions below.
- The “Clinical Work” Exception: The right to a refund is waived immediately upon the submission of the Lucid_Medical_History_Form. Once this form is completed, our clinical administration team begins the triage and preparatoy work for your assessment. At this stage, the fee becomes non-refundable.
- Administrative Charge: All approved refunds are subject to a standard £50 administrative fee to cover transaction costs and account setup expenses.
3. Rescheduling and No-Shows
Our clinicians are highly specialised, and their time is valuable.
- Cancellations: If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, a rebooking fee of £150 will apply to cover the clinician’s allocated time.
- No-Shows: If you fail to attend your virtual clinical interview without prior notice, the full assessment fee is forfeited.
4. Diagnosis Outcomes
Please note that you are paying for a clinical assessment, not a guaranteed diagnosis. A finding that you do not meet the criteria for ADHD is a valid clinical outcome and does not entitle the patient to a refund.
