Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
1. General Principles
At Lucid ADHD, we allocate highly specialised UK-registered clinicians to every assessment. When an appointment is booked, that clinician is reserved exclusively for you. Late cancellations prevent other patients from accessing care and incur significant clinical costs.
2. Rescheduling Your Appointment
We understand that plans can change. However, to maintain our clinical schedule, the following rules apply:
- More than 48 Hours’ Notice: You may reschedule your virtual assessment once without penalty.
- Less than 48 Hours’ Notice: Any request to reschedule made within 48 hours of the appointment time will incur a standard £150 Rescheduling Fe. This must be paid before a new date is confirmed.
- Limit on Rescheduling: Patients are permitted a maximum of two rescheduling requests. After the second request, the full assessment fee may be forfeited at our discretion.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
- Notice Period: To cancel an assessment and receive a refund (less the £50 administrative fee), we require at least 7 clear days’ notice before your scheduled interview.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice are eligible for a 50% refund of the assessment fee.
- Urgent Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
4. No-Shows
If you fail to attend your scheduled video call or are more than 15 minutes late, the clinician will terminate the session.
- In this instance, the full assessment fee is forfeited.
- To proceed with a new appointment, a new booking at the full rate will be required.
5. Technical Difficulties
It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection and a functional camera/microphone for the assessment.
- Failure to complete an assessment due to patient-side technical issues will be treated as a No-Show.
