Is your assessment NICE compliant?

Yes. We follow the gold-standard NICE guidelines (NG87), ensuring that our assessments are robust and clinically recognised.

Will my GP accept your report?

Our reports are written to the highest clinical standard. While most GPs accept private reports for “Shared Care” agreements, we always recommend checking with your specific surgery beforehand.

Do you offer assessments for children?

Currently, Lucid ADHD specialises exclusively in Adult (18+) assessments. We plan to expand to paediatric services in the near future.

How long is the wait?

Unlike the 2–5 year NHS wait times, we typically see patients within 2–4 weeks of their completed onboarding.

What if I don't get a diagnosis?

An assessment is an investigation, not a guaranteed result. You are paying for a specialist’s clinical time and expertise. If you do not meet the criteria for ADHD, our report will explain why and suggest alternative paths for your symptoms.

Is the fee truly fixed?

Yes. This covers your medical history review, the 90-minute consultation, and the final diagnostic report. There are no hidden “admin” or “registration” fees.

Do you offer financing?
