Collecting “Collateral Evidence”
ADHD is a developmental condition, meaning symptoms must have been present since childhood. To help your clinician, try to locate:
-
- School Reports: Look for comments like “easily distracted,” “not reaching potential,” or “talks too much.”
- Family Input: If possible, have a brief chat with a parent or sibling about your behaviour as a child.
Preparing Your Virtual Environment
Since our assessments are fully virtual, your “exam room” is your home.
- Comfort is Key: Have water, a notebook, and a fidget toy nearby.
- Privacy: Ensure housemates or family know you are in a private medical meeting.
- Tech Check: We use a secure video platform. No software downloads are required; the link will be in your appointment email.
